Mary
Hartnett, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been doing
psychotherapy for twenty five years, working with adults, children and
families. She uses the therapeutic tools of EMDR,
sand tray therapy, play therapy, art therapy, and clinical hypnosis.
Mary was searching for a school of Feng Shui where she could integrate
her clinical knowledge and skills with the artistic and creative side
of helping and healing people. The Taoist school, is also known as the
personal school, became the perfect match for Marys interests
and talents.
The personal school refers to the fact that Taoist Feng Shui practitioners
first interview their clients to find out what their current life situation
is that can benefit from the consultation. They take into account any
significant past influences, as well as the persons goals, budget,
styles, and the combination of people who are sharing a space.
Cures are recommended according to what will be most helpful for where
the client is currently at. Another significant feature about Taoist
cures is that they are suggested according to our western culture. That
means they are not strictly based in Chinese culture as some other Feng
Shui schools cures are. Thus, the cures that Mary will give you are
practical and beautiful ideas that will make your space feel harmonious,
peaceful, productive, functional, and graceful.
Mary is a Certified Advanced Feng Shui Practitioner and a member of
the Taoist Feng Shui Association.
